Machinist with Swiss lathe expertise

for a family‑owned CNC manufacturing shop. Join a fast‑paced team where precision and craftsmanship matter.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines

Read and interpret blueprints

Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges

Fit and assemble components to tight tolerances

Maintain and calibrate equipment

Document and report deviations

Work independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

3–5 years

machining experience, including

Swiss lathe operation

Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods

College/CEGEP or equivalent machining experience

Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills

Proficient with CNC machines, micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Able to lift

up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

and stand for extended periods

Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work independently in a quick‑paced environment

Precision measurement (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

Equipment calibration and maintenance

Quality documentation

Schedule & Pay

Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm

Biweekly pay $25 to $37/hr depending on experience

Overtime after 44 hours
