Working in close collaboration with the Medical Physics team in the evaluation and deployment of cutting-edge solutions while participating in custom projects designed to meet specific clinical and research requirements. To ensure seamless system integration and architectural alignment, the PSA coordinates extensively with broader hospital IT infrastructure teams to guarantee the timely delivery of projects. Furthermore, the candidate works in tandem with diverse IT groups to manage daily system administration, perform proactive and reactive maintenance, and execute complex technical diagnostics that uphold the performance and reliability of the clinical environment. Also, the PSA is expected to drive continuous improvement by implementing automation strategies that streamline administrative workflows, optimize business processes, and rationalize resource allocation across the department.**What you will be doing:*** Performs installation, configuration, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows, enterprise infrastructure and security standards* Conducts proactive maintenance such as system monitoring, log analysis, service validation, patching, and storage management to ensure optimal performance and continuity of clinical operations* Provides application-level support including investigating systemic failures and user feedback, executing troubleshooting and remediation,
and developing in house workarounds as required* Serves as the technical liaison with vendors to coordinate support, manage patches and updates, and escalate unresolved issues to ensure service level expectations are met* Designs, develops, and maintains scripts and tools for system health checks, alerting, performance monitoring, event notification, and automation of operational tasks, enabling proactive issue detection, system stability, and efficient workflow execution* Works closely with the hospital IT infrastructure teams to coordinate project deployments to meet departmental requirements and align with IT architecture* Develops scripts and programs to extract, process, and interpret system and clinical data from various sources, supporting reporting, data analysis, and enabling data-driven decision-making* Supports and maintains legacy systems by diagnosing issues, fixing bugs, adding features, implementing enhancements, ensuring compatibility with system updates for long-term sustainability* Creates and maintains technical documentation, standard operating procedures, code repositories, and knowledge-base articles for team collaboration.**What you bring:*** Minimum 3 years of IT experience, preferably within a Healthcare environment* Hands-on operational experience across a heterogeneous infrastructure comprising Windows Server/workstation, Linux, and Solaris environments* Possess analytical troubleshooting skills and experience utilizing a diverse suite of diagnostic tools and utilities to resolve complex technical issues* Demonstrate ability to support full-stack web development utilizing Java/J2EE, Struts2, jQuery, Bootstrap, and PHP to build scalable, data-driven applications* Exhibit proficiency in managing and developing for diverse database environments, including MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, with a strong mastery of T-SQL and complex query optimization* Hands-on programming skills in Java, Python, .NET, and shell scripting (PowerShell/Unix Shell)* Working knowledge of Virtualization/VDI infrastructure, especially for VMware solution* Familiar with DICOM/DICOM-RT protocols* Robust understanding of TCP/IP network protocol stack* Knowledge of iSCSI and SAN storage solutions* Willingness to work off-hours as required for system update,
