Pipefitter - Journeyman or Experienced Apprentice

This full‑time position is for a motivated, safety‑focused tradesperson who enjoys a mix of shop and field‑based work. The position requires you to be local to the Grande Prairie Area or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

- Must pass pre‑employment Drug & Alcohol test
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract
- Registered Journeyman or Apprentice Pipefitter
- Oil & Gas maintenance experience is a strong asset
- Strong oral and written communication with proven problem‑solving ability
- Willing to work flexible hours and travel when needed
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities

- Read and understand process pipe drawings, fit pipe spools according to spool drawing
- Perform equipment inspections




- Complete all documentation and requirements
- Clamping and structural support of pipe systems
- Comprehension and compliance with all safety procedures

Competencies

- Experience with flange management
- Hammer Union experience an asset
- Good knowledge of hand tools and threading equipment
- Ability to perform material take offs for piping systems
- Work well with others and at times with little or no supervision
- Ability to follow direction and maintain a high level of awareness and concentration
- Capable of working within a quick‑paced environment
