In this pivotal role within Sagard’s Finance organization, you will engage in critical tasks such as ensuring accuracy of financial statements and managing various capital activities. Your responsibilities will span from overseeing fund accounting practices to collaborating with external stakeholders and internal partners on compliance and audits, supporting the firm’s rapid growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate financial statements and net asset value reports
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and carried interests




• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Partner with teams to launch recent funds and fundraising
• Handle ad-hoc requests and engage with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
• Requires 3+ years of relevant fund accounting experience
• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance; CA or CPA preferred
• Strong communication abilities; organized and detail-focused
• Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently
• Mandatory bilingual proficiency in French and English for Québec
