Raise is seeking a qualified engineer to join the team for a 1-year contract. You will develop engineering solutions, support project management, and ensure compliance with established standards. Ideal candidates possess a solid background in concrete and steel design, along with the ability to drive results on both low and medium complexity projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop effective engineering designs and solutions
• Assist in meeting project cost, safety, and quality objectives
• Conduct field inspections and quality control monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on engineering challenges
• Propose plans and adjustments to project schedules
Requirements:
• 8+ years of civil and structural engineering experience
• Commercial driver's license for travel within BC
• Experience in hydroelectric infrastructure (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with seismic analysis and design methodologies
• P.Eng. registration or eligibility with EGBC
