Employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma include: a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Some candidates meeting specific criteria may be accepted under these alternatives; assessment will includeat least one of the employer-approved options for those who have not previously met the secondary school diploma requirement.2. Acceptable experience and/or training in a field relevant to AS classification is required when the education qualification is a secondary school diploma or approved alternatives.Other qualificationsExperience maintaining an electronic database.Experience performing various clerical tasks.Experience in using Microsoft Excel.Experience in using an RCMP database (e.G., ACIIS, PROS, SPROS, CPIC, E&R, Livelink, iRIMS).Experience in using a Human Resources Management System beyond self-service (e.G., PeopleSoft, HRMIS).Experience in a leadership role or supervising.Experience in working in a Human Resources environment.Experience in using a financial database (e.G., SAP or TEAM).Experience in maintaining or monitoring a budget and providing financial support services (e.G., travel and invoice processing).Experience in Government of Canada Procurement procedures and procurement of goods or services.Experience in Project management, Real Property management, budget planning/control related to building operations, building management,



or business administration.Experience in fixed asset management and providing advice to clients or management.Experience in fleet management administration and administration of federal government policies and/or guidelines.Experience in processing Access to Information and Privacy Act requests in a federal government environment.Experience in creating and/or delivering presentations or information sessions.Experience in RCMP recruiting administration and in working in a law enforcement workplace.Experience in records management and training environments.Experience in interpretation of medical benefit entitlement policies and liaising with internal/external clients.Experience in providing training.Other/assessable requirementsAbility to interpret documents and make recommendations, manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, and communicate verbally and in writing. Flexibility, judgment, effective interpersonal relations, attention to detail, and client service orientation are valued.Conditions of employmentVarious levels of Security Clearance. In accordance with the Treasury Board Directive on Security Screening, Canadian citizenship is required for certain clearances. Successful candidates will require an RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout tenure. The process may involve interviews, background checks, and can take weeks to months.
