Under the direction of the Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the Facility and its grounds. This is an hourly based position and shifts are on a, per event/as needed basis.This role pays an hourly rate of $17.60 CAD-$18.35 CAD (per CBA).Benefits as per the union agreement.This position will remain open until December About the VenueThe Tribute Communities Centre is Durham Region's premier sports and live entertainment facility and is managed by Oak View Group. The Tribute Communities Centre is home to the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League and hosts a myriad of events including concerts, circuses, ice skating and family shows.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the cleanliness of all common areas, meeting rooms and dressing rooms within the facilityAbility to read,



understand and follow all WHIMS guidelinesAbility to work quickly and efficiently during and after Events, exceeding the clients cleaning needsEnsure work areas and equipment are clean and organized at all timesWork diligently to ensure the safety of self and others at all timesAdhere to OVG service standards and policiesPerform all other duties as assignedQualificationsAvailable to work the overnight shift, weekends and holidays with some flexibility for late afternoon shiftsPrevious experience in Housekeeping and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, auto-scrubbers and swing machinesAbility to work while under pressure; meet tight deadlinesMust be able to bend, stretch and move, in repetitive motionsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Positive team spirit and a qualified winning attitudeStrengthened by our Differences.
