Support the teaching of Food: Religious Concepts and Practices at the University of Manitoba as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator. Engage with students through lectures, tutorials, and grading assignments.
This part-time position offers up to 20 hours per week from September to December 2026. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, marking student assignments, and facilitating student consultations. Applicants with a background in Religion and Culture are preferred, along with effective English language skills.
Key Responsibilities: • Attend orientation and planning meetings regularly • Prepare instructional materials such as tests and assignments • Mark student work throughout the course • Maintain office hours for student consultation • Participate in additional duties like field trips or material development
