Operators actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environmental protection, while keeping in constant contact with customers and demonstrating excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service. The successful candidate must also display a robust ability to work and communicate within a team environment.Work EnvironmentThis position is located at the Dawson Creek Full‑Service Terminal and is a 12‑hour shift with a rotating 7 on / 7 off shift schedule.A Day in The LifeResponsible and accountable for the day‑to‑day operation of the facilityResponsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucksParticipating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treatingResponsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality complianceConducting treatment of solids on the waste padConducting glycol boiler operations and inspectionsSubmitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the officeParticipates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safeSkills, Experience & QualificationsA High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalentExperience in operating waste processing and oil treating or water injection an asset, but not requiredTraining in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an assetCurrent and valid safety tickets, includingH2S Alive ,First Aid Level One C ,Confined Space Entry ,WHMISandTDGA strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environmentMust be able to document their work,
