Working as part of a collaborative team, you will assist in the cutting, building, and custom packaging processes that ensure high-quality products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.This position is for an existing vacancy.Depending on business needs, your interests, and your qualifications, you may work in one or more of the following areas:Cutting Shop – cutting and shaping lumber using a variety of machineryBuilding Shop – assembling pallets and skids by hand or using pallet-making equipmentCustom Shop – assisting with the construction of crates and custom export packaging, including occasional on-site packing projectsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare lumber by verifying correct species, dimensions, and quality according to work ordersLoad and feed boards into production machinery safely and efficientlyAssist with stacking, bundling,



and preparing finished products for shipment Assembling pallets and skids by hand or using pallet-making equipmentAssisting with the construction of cratesOperate tools and machinery safely, following all operational and safety proceduresAdjust machines as required for cutting depth, feed rate, and material specificationsPerform general housekeeping and maintain clean, organized work areasHandle, move, and transport materials throughout the facility (up to 20 kg as required)Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisorsFollow instructions and support team members as neededParticipate in training and continuous improvement initiativesPerform overtime when required, in accordance with legislative requirementsComplete other duties as assignedHealth & SafetyWear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesComply with company safety policies, procedures, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), including Section 28 – Duties of WorkersActively contribute to a solid safety-first culture where people matter mostQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent3–6 months of general labour or manufacturing experience preferred (not required)Experience with nail guns, impact drivers, saws, or similar tools is an assetAbility to safely operate or learn to operate machineryAbility to read, understand, and follow work instructionsGood verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learnTeam-oriented with a positive attitudePhysically capable of standing, lifting,
