Your Recent Role
As a Reconciliation Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of refined product inventory and transaction data across a network of distribution terminals. You will reconcile daily inventory movements, investigate variances, support compliance requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders across operations, accounting, settlements, and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily reconciliation of inventory transactions and product movements across multiple terminals
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and abnormal stock variations
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve variances and ensure data accuracy
- Supporting month-end close activities and SOX compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate inventory records within SAP ERP systems
- Contributing to KPI achievement and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Supporting customer and supplier inventory variance resolution
What You Need to Do
- Monitor, reconcile,
and validate daily inventory transactions
- Analyse inventory discrepancies and lead issue resolution activities
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within ERP systems
- Collaborate with operations, commercial, accounting, and settlement teams
- Support compliance controls and month-end reporting requirements
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in inventory reconciliation, accounting, finance, or related analytical roles
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or similar ERP systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Power Platform tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
