Job Overview As a Junior Electrical & Controls Designer in WSP’s Energy & Process team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to produce clear, practical design deliverables for real‑world industrial projects.Your ImpactSupport the review of P&IDs and project markups, helping translate them into accurate electrical drawings and specifications.Assist with electrical drawing packages for approval, bid, and construction (e.G., single‑line diagrams, basic schematics, lighting layouts, and control details).Apply established engineering and construction standards under guidance from senior designers/engineers.Help mark up vendor package/skid drawings to align with project requirements and discipline coordination needs.Contribute practical wiring and installation details to support constructability and field execution.Participate in coordination with mechanical, process, civil, structural, and other teams to keep deliverables aligned.Assist with requisitions, BOM reviews, and document control to help maintain high‑quality project outputs.Provide junior‑level support during construction (e.G., responding to design questions, documenting changes, and escalating issues appropriately).The Skills That Set You ApartA technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (or a related discipline) from a recognized post‑secondary institution.0–3 years of electrical drafting/design experience (including co‑op, internship, or entry‑level consulting/EPC exposure).Working knowledge of AutoCAD; interest or exposure to3D CADD tools is a plus.Comfort working in a fast‑paced,
