As a Frontline Support Worker, you will play a critical role in aiding women and children at risk of domestic abuse. Your responsibilities will include crisis support, safety planning, and collaborating with other agencies. This position requires solid interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for those in need.
Key Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls and provide immediate crisis support • Admit and orient new clients to the facility • Facilitate conflict resolution among residents • Assist in arranging transportation for clients • Maintain documentation and case notes
Requirements: • Diploma in human/social services or equivalent experience • One year recent related experience preferred • Intermediate First Aid certification • Criminal Records Check for vulnerable people • Membership in the Union required
