We work on a wide range of temporary works and scaffolding projects, providing practical and engineered solutions for construction projects across BC. Location: Burnaby, BC Employment: Full-time Work arrangement: In-office Responsibilities
Design and detail scaffolding and temporary structures for construction projects Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and design details Work with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project teams to develop practical solutions Review existing scaffold/temporary structures and assess loading conditions Prepare and revise CAD drawings and design documentation Support project coordination and respond to technical inquiries Ensure designs comply with applicable CSA, NBC, WorkSafeBC,
and other relevant standards Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field Experience with scaffolding, temporary works, structural steel, or construction-related design is an asset Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with structural analysis software is an asset Strong understanding of structural principles and load paths Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Good communication and problem-solving skills Experience working in a consulting engineering or construction workplace is an asset We are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy practical engineering challenges and developing efficient solutions for unique construction conditions.
