Reporting to the Manager of Surgical Services, this temporary role requires a dedicated nurse with surgical experience. You will provide assessment, treatment, and supportive care for surgical patients to help them achieve optimal function. Adaptability and strong leadership are crucial for addressing rapidly changing patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote health and assess surgical patients’ needs
• Provide therapeutic and rehabilitative care for optimal function
• Manage IV medications and central line care
• Support patients with epidural analgesia and P.C.A. pumps




• Maintain a focus on patient safety and education
Requirements:
• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of surgical experience within the last five years
• Completion of a Physical Assessment course
• Current BCLS certification and good performance history
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
