Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Utilize diagnostic software and manufacturer systems to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Diagnose faults, interpret trouble codes, and inspect engines and components for wear, damage, and defects.
- Repair, rebuild, and replace truck and trailer components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
- Inspect and test repaired equipment to confirm proper performance and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate repair records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures,



and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and shop personnel to support efficient operations and minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyperson Certification or Level 4 Apprentice Truck & Transport Technician required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy‑duty truck systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physically capable of performing the duties associated with the position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
