Job SummaryAssociate Director, Education and Engagement (Canada)Under the direction of the Director, Educational Program Management, the Associate Director is a multi-faceted, bilingual hybrid role responsible for education development, implementation, and outreach on behalf of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans in Québec and the broader Canadian market.En français : Sous la direction du directeur de la gestion des programmes éducatifs, le(la) Directeur(ice) associé(e), éducation et engagement (Canada) occupe un poste hybride, polyvalent, et bilingue …Job TypeFull-timeEssential ResponsibilitiesSuccess requires monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and trends in benefits and pension plans, and translating this information into educational programs and outreach opportunities.Educational Program Responsibilities (80%)Responsible for the lifecycle of educational programs for Québec and the broader Canadian market, including design, development, and delivery in French and English.Ensure topics are current, relevant, and delivered in a manner that best supports participant learning and engagement.Oversee the overall implementation of selected educational programs, ensuring appropriate structure, delivery method, and schedule.Evaluate and maintain existing products and services to keep them topical and appropriately structured.Maintain knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and pension developments in Canada and provide advice on program content and member service opportunities. Advise subject‑matter experts as appropriate.Serve as Staff Liaison for committees and planning groups to develop topical program content and provide insights on the marketplace, industry trends,



and member opportunities.Travel as required to attend educational events and promote the Foundation.Outreach Activities (20%)Analyze growth opportunities and collaborate on the Foundation’s outreach plan, focusing on Canada in both English and French.Report regularly on outreach efforts and results in support of this plan.Travel to engage members and solicit new business to grow membership and program participation.Establish and maintain high‑value relationships in the local market and promote the Foundation at industry events.Implement outreach initiatives that respond to changing member and stakeholder needs.Identify opportunities for joint ventures, affiliations, partnerships, and acquisitions to maximize reach and visibility.Support business development and membership by conducting market analysis, research, and program development. Collaborate on a communications strategy to elevate the Foundation’s presence on media platforms.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo formal supervisory responsibilities; may train or mentor junior staff.RequirementsFluent in French, located in Québec, and proficient in English.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; minimum five years of relevant experience.Ideal past experience includes relationship/account management, brand stewardship, or overseeing educational programs in Canada.Working knowledge of Canadian pensions and perks; a global understanding of employee benefits is desirable.Canadian Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation required. If not held,



must be obtained within 60 months of hire.Minimum Qualifications/SkillsSelf‑starter who enjoys driving results and demonstrates high personal accountability.Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver on projects through planning, prioritization, and time‑management skills.Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication in French and English.Strong networking skills and proven success in representing an organization.Ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.Independent work and collaboration within an interdependent team.Ability to write educational content in French is a plus.Travel RequirementsDomestic and international travel 30–50% of time; up to 20 trips per year, each lasting 2–10 days. Longer trips may involve consecutive days, nights, and weekends. Up to fifteen additional paid days off are offered for weekend travel.Remote Work EnvironmentThe position is 100% remote; training may occur at headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin.Physical DemandsEmployee must sit or stand for extended periods, use hands, talk, listen, lift and move materials weighing 30–50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with a team), and work long hours during travel.Target Salary Range$73,000 to $100,000 CAD (or $55,000 to $75,000 USD)Compensation, Perks & Benefits (Canada)Competitive salary, paid time off package, health benefits, retirement savings plan with company contribution, short‑term disability, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.About the International Foundation of Employee Benefit PlansNorth America’s largest membership organization for those who work with employee benefit plans.
