About the position :
You will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of power generation equipment at a mining site located in Northern Quebec.
Your main responsibilities :
- Ensure the safe operation of main and satellite power plants;
- Monitor operational parameters to guarantee reliable power generation;
- Monitor heat recovery systems and related equipment;
- Prepare required energy and maintenance reports;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on power generation equipment;
- Diagnose mechanical failures and participate in repairs;
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental standards;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Your profile :
- College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent training;
- Relevant experience in the operation or maintenance of power generation equipment (an asset);
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of generator sets (an asset);
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical distribution systems (an asset).
