Overview Position: Casual Healthcare Security Officer – North Cumberland Health Care CentreSite North Cumberland Health Care Centre provides space for services housed in the old hospital and the primary health team-oriented practice next door, under one roof with a shared reception area. The site connects to acute care services including the Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC), X-ray, rehabilitation, laboratory and inpatient care beds for observation, short stay and palliative patients.Position Details Position:Casual Healthcare Security OfficerSite:North Cumberland Health Care CentreHours: hrs, 1900 hrs-0700 hrsPayrate:$20.50Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol hospital grounds: Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances and exits, to ensure safety and security of the site.Monitor surveillance systems: Operate security cameras and alarm systems; report suspiciousactivity to the appropriate authorities.Access control: Monitor and control entry points to ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas.Respond to emergencies: Act quickly in medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats; assist hospital staff during crises and evacuations as needed.Provide customer service: Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff; provide directions and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.Conflict resolution: De-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts professionally.Report writing: Document daily activities, incidents,
