The Opportunity Prepare,file, prosecute, and manage Canadian trademark applications before CIPO. Adviseclients on trademark clearance, filing, prosecution, portfolio management,renewals, and brand protection strategy. Draftclear, persuasive responses to Examiner’s Reports and communicaterecommendations to clients. Coordinatewith clients, foreign associates, and agents on Canadian and internationaltrademark matters. Supportopposition, expungement, and contentious trademark matters in collaborationwith senior agents and lawyers. Managedeadlines, maintain accurate portfolio records, and help ensure exceptionalclient service. Buildstrong client relationships by providing practical, business-minded advice. Contributeto mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within thetrademark team. What You Bring Registrationas a Canadian Trademark Agent in good standing.



Approximately 5+ years of trademark prosecution and portfolio management experience. Strongworking knowledge of CIPO practices, procedures, and trademark prosecutionstrategy. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate legaland technical issues into practical client advice. Strongorganization skills and confidence managing deadlines, priorities, and multipleactive matters. Acollaborative, service-minded approach and sound business judgment. Post-secondaryeducation; a legal degree or equivalent qualification is an asset. Experiencewith U.S. or foreign trademark matters is an asset. Bilingualismin English and French is an asset.
