At Manhattan Place, you’ll support youth aged 12-17, ensuring individualized care and fostering meaningful connections. The Senior Youth Development Coordinator practices a strengths-based and relationship-oriented approach, while overseeing daily operations and mentoring staff. You will facilitate a wraparound strategy for youth, enhancing their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities: • Uphold trauma-informed care practices for youth • Lead shift responsibilities and ensure high program quality • Transport youth to various activities and appointments • Role model skills and crisis intervention techniques • Organize family and community engagement meetings
Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Human Services • 2 to 5 years’ experience with complex youth needs • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices • Robust communication and crisis intervention skills • Valid driver’s license and First Aid Certification
