Electrical Engineer, Fire Investigator (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia)
- Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires.
- Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials.
- Inspections shall include, but not be limited to, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures.
- Able to recognize potential subrogation opportunities.
- The ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required.
- The ability to assess the general safety of damaged fire structures is essential.
- Lead project(s) from start to finish.
- Provide transparent, accurate, and timely reports.
- Assess,
analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures
- Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- This is a site-based position. Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and license. We are looking for anyone throughout Atlantic Canada. Our billing centers are Dieppe NB & Dartmouth NS. Office space can be provided but some work from home is required. Requirements to work from our office are based on experience and manager discretion.
