Clean Harbors Corunna, Ontario is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Maintenance Mechanic .

Job Type

- Permanent (full-time) position

Responsibilities

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all protected work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
- Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs.
- Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
- Complete repair orders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
- Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.




- Complete warranty information.
- Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
- Carry out housekeeping duties.
- Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

- Licensed/Journeyman Truck and Coach Technician.
- 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
- Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
- Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
- Class 5 Driver’s License required.
