Registered Massage Therapist

Fairmont Banff Springs, a premier resort located in Banff, Alberta, is seeking a qualified Registered Massage Therapist to join our spa team.

Job Description

Provide a range of luxurious massage and body treatments to guests seeking rejuvenation and personalized care.

Job Duties

- Perform all 30-, 45-, 60-, 90- and 120-minute massage and body treatments, as certified/trained to do.
- Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectations.
- Always maintain a clean and neat work environment, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
- Ensure ample supply of products, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the treatment room.
- Maintain current professional licenses, CPR, First Aid.
- Participate in in-house training opportunities in our professional product lines and extend homecare including retail suggestions to our clientele.

Qualifications

- Graduate from an accredited 2200-hour massage program.
- Registered in the province of Alberta prior to beginning employment.
- Previous experience in a Spa preferred.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Constant standing/walking throughout shift and must be able to lift and carry 20+ lbs.

Compensation

Starting rate of $26.72 per hour, increasing after six months and annually up to a maximum of $70+ per hour while performing massage and body services.

Visa Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
