This is a pivotal phase as we implement our strategic plan, realigning efforts to maximize measurable outcomes and national reach. Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Major Giftsis responsible for a growth-oriented portfolio with a focus on identifying, cultivating and soliciting major and leadership gifts from individuals from across Canada. This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Major Gifts and supports fundraising strategies for growth aligned with the Foundation’s goals, strategic plan, and priority program. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated fundraising professional with a strong track record in major gifts and a passion for building authentic,



long-term relationships in a dynamic environment. They take initiative, pursue opportunities with tenacity, and bring disciplined organization and thoughtful, values-driven judgment to their work. They communicate with clarity, follow through consistently, and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team committed to improving outcomes for children and families. Responsibilities- Grow and manage a portfolio of major and leadership gifts from individuals across Canada. - Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects in alignment with the Foundation’s goals and strategic plan. - Collaborate with internal teams to develop donor engagement strategies and ensure portfolio growth. - Drive fundraising strategies and contribute to the execution of the Foundation’s plans. Qualifications- Proven track record in major gifts fundraising with evidence of revenue growth. - Strong relationship-building, communication, and planning skills. - Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team, with a values-driven approach. - Knowledge of the child welfare sector or related social impact work is a plus.
