Exploration Geologist | Uranium Exploration | South America
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Exploration Geologist to join a growing mineral exploration company and play a key role within an active exploration programme in South America.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, technically strong geologist with approximately 5 to 10 years of exploration experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and work closely with experienced technical leadership.
The successful candidate will act as an important link between the field-based exploration team and senior technical leadership, helping to ensure high-quality geological work is delivered efficiently across the programme.
The Role
- Support the planning and execution of exploration programmes in the field
- Work closely with field geologists and provide technical support and guidance
- Act as a link between field operations and senior technical leadership
- Contribute to geological interpretation, data collection and evaluation of exploration results
- Assist with the planning and prioritisation of exploration activities
- Support the development and implementation of exploration strategies
- Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams in a remote field environment
- Contribute to the ongoing advancement of an exciting exploration portfolio
About You
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic exploration geologist who is technically capable, commercially aware and genuinely motivated to develop their career.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Approximately 5 to 10 years' exploration experience
- Strong field-based exploration experience
- A solid understanding of exploration geology and geological data
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider technical team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- A genuine interest in developing under experienced technical leadership
- Previous uranium exploration experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential. Exceptional exploration geologists from other commodities will also be considered.
