Be a driving force in advancing sustainability as the Regional Manager for the Fraser Basin Council in Greater Vancouver. Manage and innovate key eco-certification programs within a hybrid work model.
This permanent role focuses on enhancing sustainability efforts in the Greater Vancouver – Sea to Sky Region, emphasizing collaboration among diverse stakeholders. You will oversee the successful implementation and development of programs like Salmon-Protected BC while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies for the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement sustainability initiatives across the region • Facilitate effective collaboration among stakeholders • Manage budgets for eco-certification and related programs • Recruit and lead program staff, interns, and volunteers • Identify and cultivate funding opportunities for projects
Requirements: • Degree in environmental or urban planning • Significant experience in project management • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities • Familiarity with land use challenges in BC • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
