Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.Travel Required: NoKey ResponsibilitiesWork on engineering projects from concept through feasibility, design, prototyping, implementation, and final buy‑offConduct time studies and develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Collaborate with production teams to drive process improvements for efficiency, quality, and safetyParticipate in equipment design reviews, procurement, installation, and commissioningEnsure all equipment meets safety standards, including Pre‑Start Health and Safety Reviews (PSHSR)Train plant personnel on new equipment, processes, and safety proceduresAnalyze workflows, layouts, and space utilization to improve manufacturing efficiencyLead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, visual management)Create and maintain equipment standards, documentation, and best practicesSupport quality systems including PFMEA, control plans, and APQPEnsure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety management systemsConduct engineering analysis to improve production processesCoordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliabilityPerform capacity planning and bottleneck analysisEvaluate capital investments using ROI analysisCollaborate with product engineering to ensure manufacturability of new productsPromote company values and a culture of continuous improvementHealth & Safety ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standardsReport hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents promptlyParticipate in incident investigations and corrective actionsSupport workplace violence and harassment policiesAttend and support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) trainingKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong problem‑solving and analytical skillsSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and process developmentCommercial awareness (cost, time, production impact)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5SKnowledge of machining, mechanical drawings, and production equipmentExperience with APQP, PFMEA, and quality systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsWillingness to travel and work overtime as neededEducation & ExperiencePost‑secondary education in Engineering or a related technical fieldProfessional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation is an asset3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience3+ years working with production equipment and process improvementsHands‑on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement3–5 years of CAD experience (AutoCAD,
