Regulatory Affairs Intern | Markham, Ontario

A leading consumer health and wellness organization is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Intern to support regulatory activities across a portfolio of consumer health, wellness, and personal care products.

Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs team, this hybrid role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in regulatory submissions, compliance, product approvals, and interactions with Health Canada.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare regulatory submissions, including NHP, DIN, SNDS, notification, and cosmetic submissions.
- Prepare responses to regulatory authority queries.
- Support annual regulatory renewal packages submitted to Health Canada.
- Assess regulatory requirements for current projects and product initiatives.
- Review and approve packaging artwork and advertising materials.
- Complete environmental ingredient surveys under CEPA.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation.
- Support regulatory information requests for aggregate safety reporting.
- Monitor and triage regulatory correspondence and departmental communications.
- Track commitments and communications with Health Canada.




- Maintain regulatory databases, trackers, and documentation.

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in a post-graduate Regulatory Affairs Certification Program.
- Undergraduate degree in a science-related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented approach.
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with standard office software.

- Salary: CAD $45,000–$60,950 annually
