The successful candidate will lead document control activities in Aconex, ensuring best‑practice governance across the full project lifecycle—from initiation through closeout, handover, and archiving.This role supports a major infrastructure construction project, requiring close coordination with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.Non‑Negotiable Requirements- Fluency in French (mandatory)- Minimum 5 years of experience in document control and administration- Strong hands‑on experience with Aconex- Proven experience implementing document management systems on construction projects- Demonstrated support of design and construction projects from a document management perspective- Experience covering the entire project lifecycle,
from initiation to final deliveryKey Responsibilities- Act as the primary Document Controller for the project using Aconex- Implement and maintain a project‑wide document management system aligned with industry best practices- Manage document workflows across design, construction, close‑out, and archiving phases- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external partners- Ensure document compliance, version control, naming conventions, and metadata accuracy- Generate custom system reports and adapt outputs to evolving project needs- Support project handover activities and ensure proper document archiving- Maintain tracking tools and registers outside of the DMS as requiredCore CompetenciesTop 3:- Organization- Rigor- Expertise in document management systemsAdditional Key Competencies:- Solid attention to detail- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills- Ability to manage complex, high‑volume documentation environmentsTechnical Skills That Stand Out- Advanced proficiency with DMS tools and document control processes- Ability to generate and customize system‑based reports- Proficiency with tracking tools and standard office software outside of the DMSLocation & Work Arrangement- Hybrid work model (currently up to 3 days per week onsite, subject to change)- Preferred locations include a central project office or downtown office, to be confirmed- Occasional travel may be required to:- Construction project sites- Partner or stakeholder officesInterview Process- 1–2 interview stages- Conducted with the Program/PMO team and document management specialists
