Impact youth lives as a Youth Wellness Navigator at SCFSS, providing culturally relevant support and guidance. This role focuses on relationship-based services, aiming to promote holistic wellness and independence for youth and families.
Reporting to the Youth Navigator Team Leader, the Youth Wellness Navigator will provide medium-term prevention services in Member Communities. Your expertise will help youth identify goals and build skills in a supportive environment that recognizes systemic challenges. This role integrates traditional syilx and nłeʔkepmx culture into services that empower youth and strengthen their connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver relationship-based prevention services for youth wellness
• Conduct intake, goal setting, and wellness planning
• Support youth in developing essential life skills




• Facilitate access to community resources and supports
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years of experience with youth or families
• Solid skills in motivational interviewing and case management
• Proven ability in confidentiality and professionalism
• Understanding of youth development and mental health issues
