Our power & utilities client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide leadership across business and technology delivery activities and assist with business process improvements, focusing on a Timekeeping Transformation and Single Source of Truth (SSOT) program

Candidates must be located in Calgary or Edmonton, and will be a Hybrid schedule (in-office 2 days/week

Must Haves

- 8+ years in Business Analysis supporting large technology transformations and process transformation initiatives
- Experience with BusinessProcess improvement , business process mapping , and business process redesign , including UAT
- Experience in Workflow automation , digital transformation , system integration , or AI-enabled initiatives
- Experience facilitating difficult stakeholder conversations, and provide leadership across both business & technology delivery activities .

Strong Nice to Haves

- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, ECBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, UiPath, or similar delivery and automation tools
- Experience in utilities,



energy, operations, payroll, workforce management, knowledge management, document governance, or enterprise search environments
- Experience supporting Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery models
- Experience supporting benefit realization, KPI validation, pilot measurement, process ownership, or governance frameworks

Responsibilities

- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and traceability activities across assigned workstreams
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, process reviews, requirements walkthroughs, and decisioning sessions with business and technical stakeholders
- Develop current-state and future-state process documentation, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT support materials
- Identify business inputs, source systems, data dependencies, governance constraints, operational risks, and decision points
- Translate business needs into explicit, testable, implementation-ready requirements for technology teams
- Track decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and requirements gaps to prevent delivery roadblocks
- Support prioritization, scope management, sprint planning input, pilot planning, adoption readiness, and benefit realization tracking
