Job Description

We are seeking a Scale Clerk to join our team from Monday through Friday (Saturday OT available) . As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately documenting weights and providing exceptional customer service.



This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment. What you're responsible for: Operatingthe scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing metal materials Recording weights and relevant information in the computer system or on paper records Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner Maintaining accurate records of all transactions,weights, material types, and customer information Verifying the identification and documentation of drivers, carriers, and vehicles while issuingreceipts, and processing payments accurately Providinggeneral administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems Qualifications
