It is accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada*Position:*Full-Time Security Guard*Site:*Headwaters Health | 100 Rolling Hills Dr, Orangeville, ON L9W 6T6*Averaging Agreement:*Employment Standards Act*Hours:*Monday to Friday *Payrate:*| $19.63/hour*Posting Date:*January 5, 2026*Internal Closing Date:*January 9, 2026*External Closing Date:*January 19, 2026Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and securityOperate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.Monitor and control entry points to the hospital, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist hospital staff as needed during crises and evacuations.Greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and hospital staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to hospital policies and procedures.De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.Document and report daily activities, incidents, security concerns or accidents accuratelyWork closely with hospital staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safetyEnsure that hospital policies, including visitor and patient protocols, are followedPrerequisitesValid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved providerCovid Vaccine 2 dosesProof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella,
