Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support a major refresh of a digital wealth and self-directed investing platform. The ideal candidate will have strong UX/UI design experience, expertise in Figma and Design Systems, and experience designing for native iOS and Android applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and create reusable components and patterns in Figma for use across the digital platform.
- Lead and contribute to Design System development, identifying component needs, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with platform standards.
- Design detailed interaction patterns and visual UI states for iOS and Android.
- Perform Design QA on implemented features to ensure consistency with design specifications.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for Design System components and usage guidelines.
- Publish and maintain Figma design libraries for accessibility across the design team.
- Ensure components comply with WCAG accessibility standards and device-level accessibility requirements.
- Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to incorporate feedback and solve design challenges.
- Balance the overall user experience with attention to detailed interaction and visual design.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Proven experience building, maintaining, or owning Design Systems and reusable components.
- Strong understanding of interaction design and visual UI design.




- Experience with responsive web design and mobile application design for both iOS and Android.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
- Experience designing high-quality digital products with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate design concepts to diverse audiences and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Robust problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Understanding of accessibility/WCAG standards.
- Banking/financial services knowledge.
- Investing or self-directed investing knowledge is preferred.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, and storyboards.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and ability to create web-ready design assets.
- Experience designing for evolving mobile platform standards and accessibility requirements.

Education

- Degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
