We are a friendly, patient-focused dental clinic looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our team on a part time basis (3–4 days per week).
This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and infection control.
Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments according to infection prevention and control protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for patient appointments.
Maintain the sterilization area in a clean, organized, and effective manner.
Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain sterilization records as required.
Stock and organize dental supplies and inventory.
Assist the clinical team with other sterilization and support duties as needed.
Qualifications
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures is an asset.
