Good Day Building Supply is a busy building materials retailer looking for a hands-on Warehouse Associate to keep our yard and warehouse running smoothly. Full-time and part-time positions available.
What you'll do:
Load customer orders — heavy lifting daily (lumber, flooring, plumbing, fasteners; 50+ lbs regularly)
Stock and restock shelves, keep aisles organized and pick-ready
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse
Receive and put away incoming inventory
Take product photos and post listings to Facebook Marketplace
Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers
Occasional errands and local pickups (gas compensated)
What we're looking for:
Fluent in Mandarin and English (needed for supplier and customer communication)
Available to work weekends
Own smartphone for product photos and Marketplace listings
Own vehicle an asset — occasional errands, mileage/gas reimbursed (not required)
Physically solid and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting
Organized and detail-oriented — you notice when stock is low or misplaced
Reliable and self-directed
Forklift experience an asset (not required)
Details:
Full time / Part-time, 30 - 40 hr per week, willing to work on weekends
In-person, Scarborough, ON
Part time: $20/hr
Full-time: $22/hr to start, $24 after a 3-month review
