Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our energetic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy hours
Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience

Skills




Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, with knowledge of the food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering tasks
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Experience with food preparation, serving, and hospitality best practices is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members effectively
