Join Durham Community Health Centre as a Youth Mental Health Therapist. This part time role emphasizes youth-focused therapy, substance use intervention, and team-oriented care delivery across Durham Region. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work within an interprofessional Youth Wellness Hub team.
This role requires providing evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health support to youth aged 12 to 25, adapting services for virtual and in-person delivery. Your contributions will foster integrated care and positive psychosocial outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based counselling for youth mental health
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
Implement therapeutic interventions like CBT and DBT
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination
Develop and evaluate youth-focused programs and practices Requirements:
Master of Social Work or equivalent clinical degree
Minimum two years' experience in youth therapy
Knowledge of substance use and mental health challenges
Registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO in positive standing
