Pauly Metalworks Ltd. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Shop Labourer to join our growing fabrication team. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a clean and organized workspace, and wants to build a career in the welding and metal fabrication industry.
Previous welding shop experience is an asset but is not required—we're willing to train the right person with a solid work ethic and positive attitude. Opportunity to expand into welding duties and/or apprenticeship is also possible.
What You'll Do:
Assist welders and fabricators with daily shop tasks.
Prepare materials for fabrication and welding.
Grind, deburr, and finish metal components.
Load and unload materials and completed projects.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Keep the shop clean,
organized, and safe.
Perform general labour duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
Reliable with excellent attendance.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
