Duties
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and efficiently
Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy of items and modifiers
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns
Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a positive manner
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow proper sanitation procedures
Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or plates if required
