What you'll do
Oversee engineering initiatives, including project planning, workload distribution, and progress tracking.
Guide your team's development activities, encompassing design, coding, documentation, testing, debugging, and optimization.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across various development teams.
Partner with product managers, designers, and QA to ensure our products meet high usability and quality benchmarks.
Provide solid project management support and inspire your team to excel.
Adapt to a energetic and fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficient programming skills in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with Postgres, SQL, and data architecture is advantageous.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
A commitment to enhancing education through technology.
Nice to have
Experience in educational technology or related sectors.
The salary for this full-time role ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 CAD, plus benefits. Pay is determined based on role, level, and location, with individual compensation reflecting relevant skills and experience.
