Duties
Perform personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.
Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their health concerns to develop effective treatment plans.
Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical information using professional terminology.
Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits,
and any potential contraindications or precautions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care.
Qualifications
Valid registration or licensure as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for diverse clientele.
Ability to listen actively and adapt treatments based on individual client needs.
Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
