Duties
Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to each client's needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to optimize results
Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations
Ensure a clean, secure, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain treatment procedures clearly
Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge
Experience
Proven experience as a Registered Massage Therapist or similar role in a clinical or spa setting
Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and massage therapy techniques
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Excellent communication skills for explaining treatments and addressing client questions
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Certification from a recognized massage therapy program and registration with relevant licensing boards or associations
