The Full-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store #614 (Not a Warehouse job) will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with a variety of tasks in a quick-paced retail store environment. This individual will work as part of a team to ensure efficient operations at the store and maintain a positive customer experience. This role will require solid communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. This is a retail store where customer service and hospitality are of utmost importance. Please note we require someone to be available full time.
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting compensation for this position ranges from $17.60 per hour, paid biweekly.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process shipping and printing transactions accurately and efficiently
Package and ship items using UPS or other carriers
Operate printing and copying equipment
Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases
Promote UPS products and services to customers
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and cash handling
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
Handle customer complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner
Attend training and educational programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience preferred
Experience with shipping and printing services is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic computer skills and comfort with technology
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Adaptable availability, including weekends
