Provide essential support for children in need at CHEO Ottawa as a Program Attendant. This role requires assisting with activities, care, and programming within diverse pediatric settings. As a vital team member at CHEO, you will implement daily programming and care for children with disabilities in a supportive workplace.
Roles involve physical assistance, communication with families, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Weekend and evening availability is essential to meet the needs of service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing daily activities and programming
Provide physical care including lifting and positioning
Communicate effectively with staff, families, and participants
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities
Document care provided to assigned clients Requirements:
College or University degree in related field
Minimum 1-year experience with children with disabilities
Current CPR Certification
Vulnerable Sector Check (Level 3)
