HumanWare is hiring 2 Senior Embedded Software Developers to join its R&D; team. We're seeking experienced engineers who can quickly contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge embedded software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based products.
Develop applications using C/C++ and C# .
Lead software architecture, design, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
Debug, optimize, and resolve complex software issues.
Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of software development experience (solid candidates with slightly less experience may be considered).
Solid hands-on experience with Embedded Linux , C/C++ , and C# .
Experience with software architecture, debugging, performance optimization, and embedded systems.
RTOS, microcontrollers, automated testing, and cybersecurity knowledge are assets.
Experience across multiple industries is highly valued.
Nice to Have
Experience with image processing, video processing, or computer vision .
Background with leading technology or medical device companies (e.g., Apple, Medtronic, Philips, or similar).
Language Requirement
French is mandatory (technical interviews will be conducted in French).
English required for collaboration with global teams.
