Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required, to prevent falls or injuries




Document care provided accurately in client records and communicate any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals

Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
Strong understanding of patient care principles and caregiving best practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs
Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members
Basic knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed
