Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cooking stations
Handle food safely, following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment
Support food service operations by serving dishes and assisting with customer needs when required
Manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage
Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks for kitchen supplies

Requirements




Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
Good understanding of kitchen safety practices and hygiene standards
Robust teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
Basic cooking skills are advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate
