Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our energetic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food items, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a restaurant or food service setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure timely service
Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with plating and presentation of dishes for service
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy periods, including assisting with meal assembly
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed





Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Experience in serving or restaurant environments is a plus
Kitchen experience within the food industry is desirable but not essential
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to quality service
